The UCMAS program is divided into progressive levels, meticulously designed to transition the child from physical calculation to pure mental computation (Anzan).

Abacus Mastery: The hands-on use of the abacus stimulates nerve endings in the fingers, which directly connect to the brain, enhancing sensory-motor skills.
Visualization Power: The physical tool is gradually internalized, transforming into a ‘Mental Abacus’. This process forces the child to use the right brain (the center for visualization and creativity) to perform calculations, resulting in a perfectly balanced, dual-hemisphere mental workout.
